FirstFarms fully understands its social obligations with regard to the acquisition of companies in Eastern Europe and subsequent agricultural operations, and steps have been taken to protect the environment as well as animal welfare, and also to provide staff education. FirstFarms' policy is that the subsidiary companies shall meet all environmental requirements for production and operation together with other requirements, e.g. in respect of animal welfare and the working environment, applicable in the respective countries in which the farming companies are located.
